The cross LoC bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad will ply as per schedule despite the exchange of fire between armies of India and Pakistan, officials said. "The cross LoC bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffrabad will run as per schedule on Monday," said Sub Divisional Magistrate Uri D Sagar.

He said as a normal procedure scrutiny of the documents of passengers travelling in Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus is being done, after which they will be allowed to move.

Pertinently, the armies of India and Pakistan have exchanged artillery and machine gun fire many times during the last week forcing around 600 border residents to flee from their residential houses in Uri.
